Would you rather be 60% of a person; or have the rights of a wart?
We all nod and agree - nobody in their right mind would enslave another!
Basic human decency, freedom, liberty!
We're better than that.
And, really, it's easier now. It's not like we have to face the consequences of our society's greatest crime.
Someday, my great grandchildren will shake their heads in amazement. "You mean they actually thought it was okay to kill their children? What were they thinking? It's amoral, illogical and counter-productive to survival of their species... from any aspect: religious, moral, ethical, legal - it's wrong!"
And my son, their grandfather, will shake his head in amazement how things have changed.
